At the recent ACT Championships held in Canberra, the Scots School Pipe Band, with a few members of AWPD joining them in Grade 4, achieved the following:

• 1st in Juvenile
• 1st in Grade 4 overall
• 1st in Drumming in Grade 4

First time competitors from both bands did a very good job. AWPD congratulates Jack Dempsey on his first outing in to the competition circle and we also wish to thank Scott Nicholson from the SSPB for his assistance.

Onwards and upwards for the Daylesford Gathering in December.
